If you are running Stitchmastery in demo mode, the Activate Stitchmastery dialog will appear when you start Stitchmastery. You can also view this dialog by selecting Tools > Activate from the main menu.
If you have purchased a Stitchmastery activation key, you should have received an email containing the key. Enter this activation key into the text box in the Activate Stitchmastery dialog and select Activate. Stitchmastery contacts our website to perform the activation.
Every time that Stitchmastery starts it checks if it has been activated. If yes, it runs in 'full' mode, otherwise it runs in demo mode.
If there are any problems activating the software, please contact support@stitchmastery.com for help. If there is an error message or code, please include that information in the email.
If you have bought an activation key for Stitchmastery, this license can be used on two devices. If you have activated on two devices and decide to retire one of those and wish to activate Stitchmastery on a third device, you can now deactivate the first device, rather than needing to contact the Stitchmastery team to undertake this.
To deactivate select Tools > Deactivate from the main menu. A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you wish to deactivate Stitchmastery.
If you change your mind, and have only activated on one other device, you can reactivate using the Activation instructions above. Otherwise, you can now uninstall Stitchmastery following the Uninstall instructions above.
Windows users might also find it useful to deactivate their software before carrying out Windows upgrades and then activate again, as these upgrades sometimes lead the system to mistake your new Windows version as a new device and count your new activation as a second one rather than the same one.
If there are any problems deactivating the software, please contact support@stitchmastery.com for help. If there is an error message or code, please include that information in the email.
