Associating a .knt2 file extension with Stitchmastery

To associate a .knt2 file extension with Stitchmastery;-

Windows 

1. Open the Control Panel and then navigate to Control Panel Home > Default Programs.

2. Select Associate a file type or protocol with a program.

3. Select the .knt2 file extension and then click Change Program…

4. Select Browse to navigate to the install location for Stitchmastery, select Stitchmastery.exe and then click Open.

5. Select OK.

macOS 

1. Find a .knt2 file in Finder.

2. Control-click on the .knt2 file and select Open With > Other.

3. In the Choose Application dialog;-

   1. Select Stitchmastery inside your Applications folder.

   2. If Stitchmastery is not enabled (that is, it is light grey rather than black), select Enable > All Applications so that Stitchmastery is now enabled.

   3. Select Stitchmastery.

   4. Check Always Open With.

   5. Now select Open to open the .knt2 file using Stitchmastery and to set up the file association for the future.

Linux Ubuntu 

1. Find a .knt2 file in Nautilus File Manager.

2. Right-click on the .knt2 file and select Properties.

3. Select Open With.

4. Select Stitchmastery.
