The Arrange command provides a quick way to quickly layout all the charts and the key in the Chart Diagram file. It is invoked by selecting the Arrange Icon from the main tool bar. All the charts are laid out in a horizontal row with the key being placed at the right hand side.
When columns are added to a chart or a new chart is added to the Chart Diagram file, the key needs to be shifted to the right so that the charts do not overlap the key. By default this happens automatically. If, however, you have changed the layout of the chart(s) and key manually, then you may wish to turn off this automatic layout so that it does not undo your hard work. This can be done by deselecting the 'Automatically arrange charts and key' preference option. For more information see Preferences.
