macOs computers have a setting which controls whether scroll bars/sliders show up only when you have your mouse curser over the window, when you are scrolling or always. Stitchmastery has 4 areas which can be activated - the drawing area, the stitch palette, the Outline or Validation feature box, and the Output Text box. The first and second settings can lead to a delay in the scroll bar appearing in these different sections, so sometimes people get in touch saying they have lost the scroll bar for the outline text etc.
To always have the scroll bars visible, go to macOS System Settings and choose Appearance. Then select Show scroll bars - Always (as shown in the image below).
