3.2.2 and backwards compatibility with earlier versions

Note that chart files either created or edited in Version 3.2.2 cannot be opened in earlier versions of Stitchmastery. If you share chart files with other Stitchmastery users and it is possible that some of those other users have not yet updated from Version 3.1.0 to Version 3.2.2, then one option is to run both versions of Stitchmastery on your machine.

To do this, we recommend that on Windows and Linux machines you choose a different install location - so for example, you could make the install location for version 3.1 something like: c:\Users\Hannah\Documents\Stitchmastery31 

To launch different versions of Stitchmastery on Windows and Linux, navigate to the correct software folder and double click on the Stitchmastery.exe file in the relevant StitchmasterySoftware folder;-

On macOS rename the Stitchmastery application in the Applications folder so that you can distinguish between them and launch the correct version;
