Migrating 'mosaic' charts to 'two pass' charts

If you created a 'mosaic' type chart in Stitchmastery 3.1 or an earlier version then when you see the Edit Chart Properties dialog you will have the opportunity to convert your chart to the 'two-pass' type chart available from version 3.2.

Before doing so make sure that you take a back up of your chart file.

Select Would you like to convert this mosaic chart to a two-pass chart to make the conversion.

Select Would you like to reset the row labels for the converted two-pass chart to have Stitchmastery generate new row labels that are specific for two-pass charts, for example, 1 DS LC. It is possible to reset the row labels later.

If you do not convert a 'mosaic' type chart to a 'two-pass' chart you will still be able to view, edit and export your chart to both image and written instructions. However you will not be able to make use of the row labels and written instructions that are generated by Stitchmastery specifically for two-pass charts.
